4 steps to remove dead skin

Every one wishes to get a light and radiant skin tone. But due to pollution and dry weather, our skin looses it’s moisture and leaves a flaky dead skin on the upper layer of our skin. Dust and pollution starts accumulating in to the pores of the skin resulting in darker skin. Our skin constantly generates new skin cells and moves from lower layer to the upper layer. This makes the skin look fresh , younger and  smoother. As you age , the natural skin cells regeneration process slows down, that leads to the accumulation of dead skin on the upper surface of our skin.  This dead skin makes the skin look dull and darker.  When you remove the dead skin, the skin starts breathing and looks light, fairer and smoother. Let us see the secrets to remove dead skin from the body:

Step1:
Wash the affected area with warm water, this will open up the pores. For best results steaming the affected area  is preferable to clean the skin and make it smooth and soft.  Steaming removes the dirt and dust that has been accumulated in the pores.

Step2:
Coconut oil  and Brown Sugar:
Take a bowl, mix 4 table spoons of brown sugar with 1 table spoon of coconut oil. Apply it on the affected body part and massage upwards in a circular motion for about  2-3 minutes . Make sure you do not harm your skin by rubbing with pressure. You can even use a soft bristle tooth brush to massage the affected area.

Coconut oil and Salt:
Make a mixture of salt and coconut oil with a proportion of 4:2. Apply this mixture to the affected area  and massage in a upward circular motion for about 2 minutes. Allow it to settle for 5 minutes and then wash it off with the cold water.

Lemon juice and coconut oil:
Extract lemon juice from a fresh lemon . Take 4 table spoons of juice in a bowl  and add 1 table spoon of oil. Stir well, to get them mixed properly. Apply this mixture to the affected part and massage in a circular motion. Leave this for about 10 minutes and then wash it off with the cold water.

Step3 :
Do not allow the washed area to get dry completely. Let the area be damp wet, take a bowl and add 4 table spoons of besan, ½ table spoon of turmeric, 2 spoons of curd, 2 drops of lemon juice and ½ spoon of coconut oil. Stir well, let everything mixes properly. Now apply this paste to the area gently and allow it to dry for 15 minutes. Then wash it off with cold water. This makes the skin to recover it’s lost moisture.

Step 4:
As soon as you  come out of the bathroom, apply a good brand moisturizer and massage in an upward circular motion, doing this balances the ph level of the skin.

You can follow this process twice a week, if your skin is normal in nature. Do it once a week, if the skin is sensitive.
